HENGAM GAS REFINERY

Hengam Gas Refinery

Hengam Gas Refinery

Hengam Structure is a large elongated N-S trending anticline located in the Strait of Hormuz in the eastern part of the Persian Gulf. Approximately 80% of the field lays in Iranian territorial waters and the rest is extended into the Oman offshore area.
Crude production from the well platform, hdp-1 is directed to a submarine pipeline which transmits multi-phase flow to onshore plant at Qeshm Island. The crude is fully processed in a crude processing plant which is constructed by Jondishapour EPC Company. After required treatments, gas will be transferred for local consumption.
On the basis of the reservoir simulation results, Hengam field production can reach to as high as 16000 BPD of crude oil. Gas production will start from 45 MMSCFD and will increase after 5 years of constructing crude plateau. This gas volume will reach up to 80MMSCFD.
