Iran's Petrochemical Industry: A Good Candidate for American & European Companies to Invest
Following the lifting of international sanctions on Iran, many international petrochemical firms including the European and American one's have indicated interest to join petrochemical projects in Iran. Marziyeh Shahdaei, a deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs asserted in a meeting with senior petrochemical executives from Persian Gulf Holding Company on Monday.
Shahdaei said the company is planning to establish Iran's second petrochemical leap by 2020 and continued, "We would do whatever we can in this regard." In addition, she presides over National Petrochemical Company (NPC).
She said National Petrochemical Company (NPC) is responsible for attracting finances for petrochemical projects.
